Reliable Support for the Military
Serhii Khalupinskyi before the full-scale invasion worked as a communications specialist at the Charitable Foundation MHP – GROMADI. After the invasion, he left the comfort of his office in Cherkasy and went to six of the most intense war zones: Sievierodonetsk, Lysychansk, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Bilopillia, and Kupiansk. His work in media and social projects quickly transformed into defending the country. The support from his company and colleagues at the Foundation was immense, ranging from fulfilling his unit’s humanitarian needs to sending heartfelt messages and delicious meat treats to boost morale. Today, Serhii coordinates the Military and Veteran Support Center, assisting soldiers at every stage – from the beginning of their service to their transition back to civilian life.

Veteran Support
Serhii Zharikov, a repair technician at the Vinnytsia Poultry Farm branch, joined the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the early days of the full-scale invasion. He initially defended the border with Belarus as part of the 120th Brigade and later fought in fierce battles near Bakhmut, where he was captured. After returning home, Serhii underwent medical examinations, treatment, rehabilitation, and professional reintegration through the MHP Standing Together program.

Caring for Families
Family is the first place soldiers return to after their service. That’s why we stay closely connected with the families of soldiers, veterans, and those awaiting the return of their loved ones. We offer financial, psychological, and legal support, and help with daily needs. We also remain by the side of families of fallen or missing soldiers, providing financial assistance and legal aid to help them access government benefits and entitlements.

Supporting Veteran-Owned Businesses
Ihor Kumechko in 2014 a successful lawyer, joined the military. After returning home in 2019, he and his wife started a family farm called 'Kumechko'. When the full-scale invasion began, Ihor immediately returned to the front lines. His wife, Marina, took over managing the farm and submitted a project to the #Worth 'Do Your Business' grant competition to help expand their business. While still serving, Ihor successfully pitched his business project. With the 1 million UAH grant they won, they introduced a modern No-Till farming system to their operation.

Supporting Veteran Spaces and Adaptive Sports
We actively support adaptive sports training and inclusive competitions in towns and villages across the country. These events provide opportunities for veterans and military personnel to engage in activities such as archery, wheelchair basketball, and handbike racing. Most importantly, they foster connection and support, helping participants recover both physically and mentally. In 2023, we supported 16 veteran spaces in the Kyiv, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, and Khmelnytskyi regions. This year, in collaboration with our partners, we’ve already launched 5 'Svoi Sered Svoikh' (Eng. ‘One of Us’) hubs in the Lviv region. Looking ahead, we plan to open 15 more adaptive clubs in communities across Ukraine as part of the 'Time to Act, the Unstoppable' social initiative.
